In the course of the raid, law enforcement officers seized over 200,000 unmarked cigarettes worth more than 20 million rubles.
The illegal goods, imported from abroad, were stored in a warehouse and a nearby commercial space in the Kirovsky district. The suspect, a 46-year-old man, sold the cigarettes "hand-to-hand" by pre-order only. Thanks to the coordinated efforts of the police and the National Guard, the organizer of this illegal business was detained.
