On the 19th – 21th of November 2023 a congress of leaders of OPORA RUSSIA and the NP OPORA Association with the support of the Head of the Chechen Republic Ramzan Kadyrov was held in the city of Grozny. This congress was attended by the representatives of relevant authorities and educational institutions, leaders of the Organization, heads and members of regional branches, and the Vlasta-Consulting company represented by Deputy CEO Konstantin Shestera also took part.
The key event was the plenary session dedicated to the development of small businesses in industry, tourism and trade as a point of economic growth in the Chechen Republic.
The main issues of concern to entrepreneurs were discussed:
- How to protect intellectual property (trademarks, developments, etc.) on the territory of the Russian Federation and when entering foreign markets;
- How to protect the rights of entrepreneurs when making claims for intellectual property violation;
- Combating counterfeit products;
- Capitalization of intellectual property and attraction of investments in intellectual assets;
- Protection of regional brands and the use of geographical names in trademarks;
A representative of Vlasta-Consulting took an active part in the discussions as an expert and speaker.
